As the religious leader of the community, Br. Essa Rhebi leads the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers, and Taraweeh during Ramadan. He provides spiritual guidance, delivers sermons, and oversees religious education and counseling for community members.

Responsible for the overall administration and financial oversight of the center, Br. Hisham Elamad manages budgeting, fundraising, and financial reporting. He ensures the financial sustainability of the center and supervises fiscal policies in accordance with Islamic principles.

In his role, Br. Bassam Shaer assists the Imam in organizing religious programs, halaqas, and Islamic education initiatives. He also manages financial matters, including donations, membership contributions, and expense tracking, while providing financial updates to the leadership and community.

Responsible for planning and organizing religious, educational, and social events, Br. Bakhodir fosters community engagement by coordinating workshops, guest lectures, family gatherings, and special programs during Ramadan and Eid celebrations.

Br. David manages and recruits volunteers for various mosque activities and initiatives. He ensures that community events, outreach programs, and mosque operations are well-supported by dedicated volunteers, fostering a spirit of service within the congregation.

Managing the mosque’s digital presence, Br. Yakub oversees social media, website updates, and communication efforts. He ensures timely dissemination of important announcements, event promotions, and educational content to keep the community informed and engaged. This leadership team is dedicated to fulfilling the mission of the Destin Islamic Center, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community, and ensuring the center’s growth and sustainability.
